AT&T announced the Motorola Karma QA1 QWERTY Slider Phone

AT&T announced the Motorola Karma QA1 Slider Handset with the latest AT&T easy messaging and social networking phone. Users will get quick access to the Facebook and MySpace from its homescreen.

Designed basically for messaging functionality, this handset offers users a host of features including 2.5 inch display, 2.0 megapixel camera, A2DP stereo Bluetooth 2.0, GPS, 3.6 Mbps HSDPA, micro sd card slot and video recording functionality. User can also access the AT&T’s CV Video. The media player supports file formats including the mp3, AAC, AAC+, eAAC+, XMF, RealAudio and MIDI files together with H.263 and MPEG4 Video.

The phone is pocket friendly comes with fully equipped QWERTY keyboard designed for the heavy texters. The 3.5 mm headset jack helps in connecting a headphone that allows users to enjoy their favourite music and answer calls. There’s also a speakerphone, speech recognition, CrystalTalk active background noise filter and voice-memo recording.

In addition, the Karma QA1 offers the users stay connected to their friends via the AOL Instant Messenger, Windows and Yahoo! Messenger with Mobile IM. The mobile e-mail provides access to Yahoo, AOL and Windows Live.

The Motorola Karma QA1 handset is now available in the AT&T stores for a price of $79.99 after a $50 mail-in rebate.
