Know and Take Care your iPod Battery


ipod battery is a part of iPod accessories. In most of iPods, lithium based batteries have been used for few years rather than using traditional type of battery made from nickel-cadmium. The lithium batteries are more powerful than others, because it does not need to charge frequently, it is recognized as last longer battery as compared to others and it employs a fast-charge technology. Every time you charge your iPod battery, it loses little bit of power and performance eventually. It doesn’t means that you have to minimise the use of your iPod but you need to take care your battery to expand its life.


Here are some simple tricks, which can expand your battery life and save more power,
- Turn off the backlight which can save a massive power.
- Point to half-level of volume to get extra time to listen your favourite music.
- Don’t overuse the ‘next’ and ‘previous’ options.
- Keep the iPod in room temperature, above 95 degrees can damage the battery.
- Use small audio files such as MP3 rather than WAV files.
- Create a play list of your favourite music rather than playing in shuffle mode.
